Well folks, we regret to inform you that unsafe conditions are now forcing us to postpone our January expedition. We are facing a combination of challenges with COVID, borders closing or remaining closed, and civil unrest in some parts of Uganda related to the upcoming January presidential elections. We are following recommendations from our respective countries and friends in Uganda, who we deeply thank for their precious advice.
But this is also a great chance for us to regroup and prepare to travel to Uganda in July 2021! We really cannot wait to go and visit the glaciers of the Rwenzori in the best possible and safest conditions.
